  • Dr. Ralph Hudson

    Dr. Ralph Hudson

    Has been a Veterinarian for 21 years and at Eastern Hills for 15 years. He always wanted to be a veterinarian, having a love of animals since a child. He grew up on a farm in Africa, raising owls, doves, a Hornbill, a Vervet monkey and other birds and animals as a child. Now working with pets and wildlife every day is a dream come true. He has two dogs, a Dalmatian and a Staffy, and a cat. Emma the Dalmatian is a regular blood donor, saving the lives of a few dogs.

  • Dr. Russell James

    Dr. Russell James

    Russell has worked as a Veterinarian for 14years. He started as a country Vet in Narrogin where he met his wife Melissa who is a Veterinary Nurse. They now live locally with young family who keep them extremely busy. Russell has been with the Practice for 7 years and is a well respected Veterinarian in the Hills. Both Russell and Melissa are passionate about animals and would like to save all the homeless. They currently have two dogs, two horses, two sheep, four cats and birds.

  • Karina Lamont

    Karina Lamont

    Karina is our Senior Veterinary Nurse and has been at the Practice Full Time for 15 years. Karina has a wealth of experience, especially as a surgical nurse, having seen almost every type of emergency possible, and being very calm in difficult situations! Karina has a Bull Terrier cross, Mack, Abby an energetic Labrador and a mad black cat called Denzil. She is also an accomplished musician, playing the trumpet for a Jazz Band. Karina is our true local, growing up in the hills, attending local primary & senior schools and living locally.

  • Terri

    Terri Jones

    Terri is a Fully Qualified and very experienced Veterinary Nurse, with a special interest in Wildlife. Gaining invaluable experience at MPEC, a very busy pet emergency centre, Terri has brought with her a volume of experience in triage, emergency procedures and critical care. One of Terri’s passions is native fauna, and she is currently studying Conservation Biology and Environmental Science at Murdoch University. Terri has become an important member of our Full time Team.

  • Asha-Leigh

    Asha-Leigh

    Asha-Leigh joined the Practice in July 07 as a Full Time Trainee Veterinary Nurse. In October 2009 Asha finalised her Traineeship and is now a Qualified Certificate 4 Veterinary Nurse. We are very proud of her achievement. Asha has added to her knowledge and along with her nursing skills has become our main animal groomer. We can always rely on Asha for a cheery smile, she is a great team member.

  • Melissa

    Melissa

    Melissa joined the Practice in April 2009 as a Full Time Trainee Veterinary Nurse. Melissa will become a Fully Qualified Veterinary Nurse in April 2011 and we are very proud of her. Melissa particularly enjoys hydro-bathing dogs and surgery duties. She is very organized with her work and is a very valuable member of our team.

  • Pam MacLeod

    Pam MacLeod

    Pam is our Practice Manager and has been with the Practice for 9 years. She has two very slim Daschunds (Tui & Red) and Diamond the Budgie. Pam keeps us organised and keeps busy with all the administration.

  • Deborah Perkins

    Deborah Perkins

    After spending 2007 completing Full time Studies at Bentley, Deb joined the Practice part-time as a Fully Qualified Veterinary Nurse in Jan 2008. Deb has lived in the area for many years and loves the Hills life style. She has a busy household with 2 young children.

  • Bron King

    Bron King

    Bron has joined the Practice as a part-time Veterinary Nurse and currently studying Veterinary Science. Bron is our Puppy Class trainer and you will find her here on Saturday afternoons of training days having fun with all the new puppies. Bron works mostly weekends as she has a full schedule through the week at Murdoch University where she is studying Biomedical Science. Bron loves to travel and bring us stories of her adventures.

  • Melissa James

    Melissa James

    Melissa is currently working part-time which she really enjoys. Melissa had been with the Practice on and off over the past 14 years with time away to be at home with a young busy family.

  • EHVC Car Park and Staff

    Kennel Attendants

    We have a great team of kennel attendants who come in the afternoons. They are generally local students who are interested in veterinary or nursing careers. This gives them a good indication of what to look forward to.
